HOM - Special School
HOM – Special School is dedicated to providing exceptional education and care for specially challenged children. Founded on July 22, 1999, by Bishop Lawrence Mar Ephraem, our school operates under the guiding motto, “They are also to be cared …..” We focus on ensuring the personal and social well-being of each child, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment where they can thrive. Through tailored educational programs and compassionate support, we strive to empower our students to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives
Our Founder
Bishop Lawrence Mar Ephraem, during a survey in the district of Kanyakumari, observed that many specially challenged children were deprived of proper care and dignity. Determined to ensure their healthy personal and social well-being, he founded our special school on 22 July 1999 with the motto, “They are also to be cared…” This guiding principle continues to drive our commitment to providing exceptional care and education for every child.
