Founder’s Day
Founder’s Day marks the beginning of our journey and celebrates the vision, dedication, and hard work that laid the foundation of Home Special School. It’s a day to honor our founders, staff, and students who continue to make a difference. The event includes special performances, speeches, and an award ceremony.
Annual Day
Annual Day is a special event where we celebrate the amazing talents and achievements of our students. The day is filled with colorful cultural performances, including music, dance, and drama. We also take this opportunity to recognize and appreciate the efforts of our students, teachers, and staff who have made valuable contributions to our school throughout the year.
Pongal
Pongal is a time to express gratitude to nature and celebrate the harvest season. Our school will be decorated with colorful kolams, and students will enjoy traditional games, dance, and the preparation of delicious Pongal.
Independence Day
Independence Day reminds us of our nation’s struggle for freedom. Students will participate in flag hoisting, patriotic songs, and cultural performances that reflect the spirit of India.
Onam
Onam is a festival of unity and prosperity. Our celebrations include traditional Pookalam (flower rangoli), Thiruvathira dance, Onam Sadhya (feast), and fun games to make the day memorable for our students.
Christmas Day
Christmas at Home Special School is a time of joy and giving. The celebrations include a nativity play, carol singing, a visit from Santa Claus, and a fun-filled gathering to spread love and happiness.
World Differently Abled Day
On this special day, we celebrate the abilities and achievements of our students. Various activities, including talent shows, motivational talks, and inclusive games, will be organized to inspire confidence and self-expression.
Diwali
Deepavali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness. Our students will light diyas, participate in cultural performances, and enjoy a day filled with joy and sweets.
Children’s Day
Children’s Day is dedicated to the happiness and well-being of our students. The day is packed with games, performances, and special surprises from teachers to make every child feel valued and loved.
Teacher’s Day
Teacher’s Day is a tribute to the dedication and hard work of our educators. Students express their gratitude through performances, heartfelt speeches, and creative activities to make their teachers feel special.
